I like your thinking, Matt. I was starting to come by the same answer. I can’t avoid people copy/pasting the info, so there should probably be a definitive “Artist Blurb” for that purpose, but then a personalize bio for the rest. Thanks for that thoughtful input.

You could do both, though. I’d recommend putting the third-person generalized statement at the top, and then transitioning to a more personal section afterwards. You can do this either through FAQ style headings or by labeling them as “About the Artist” and then something else…

Or be really obvious and state what each section is for. “About the Artist (this is the part you should copy/paste for art shows and advertisements)” and, “About Megan (read this part because it’s cooler).”
